The Cartouche
On the back of each t-shirt is a subtle cartouche containing your chosen author's name, the year of their birth and death, and the title of their novel. Each cartouche is unique, with the colour of the novel's title corresponding to the main image on the front of your garment, while changing colour to be legible against your selected hue.
The Totem
The Quite Literary winged totem hovers protectively over the cartouche, with its three open books representative of the three strands of design within the site - the Literary, the Arty, and the Quirky. The logo's open books symbolise honesty, transparency, and shared experience.
